This blog is created to give you an opportunity to record and share your thoughts and your journey with the Mimeo. For this to be useful to you, it is the collaboration with others that increase the likelihood that you will succeed. So please try to check in regularly and let others know how you are doing and what you are learning. Also help out others who have posted questions or are asking for assistance. Enjoy the journey which will not always be smooth but there is great potential there.
I set my mimeo up after the training on Friday. It helps when you live in the same district as you work in! The download went smooth and the calibration too...the problem I had was when I tried the desktop capture application. I was able to get a pic and put it onto the storyboard, but I could not figure out how to exit it when I was done! The mouse ended up being the same as the cursor so that was of no use....any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteWorked through that problem. Starting to get the hang of it! It's been great using it with websites that are interactive. We have put the website up on the "board" and done interactive math games. Also, found a website where you had to put put the countries of a continent, (eg. European countries)that were mixed up into a jigsaw puzzle format. A great math site is called "hoodamath.com" check out the interactive logic games. This website has become a class favorite and goes well with the Mimeo board.
